Introduction

We all want to live lives that stand the test of time, don’t we? We want to live lives that at the end, we’re finishing strong. We’re still growing and still learning rather than having our best days be at the very beginning of our lives, and slowly fall a part. So the question that I want to consider today is…What are some things that we need to look at? What are some questions we need to ask ourselves if we’re going to live lives that last? He was 30 years old when he came to a place of power and he ruled as king for 42 years. 42 years he was king. On the outside, he had a lot of things going for him. He was tall. He was handsome. He was seemingly modest. He was a capable military leader…but his life ended tragically.
